Members of the Holy Name Society will lead the parish in the rosary at 7:30AM prior to the 8:00AM Mass on Sunday, February 9, 2020. A HNS meeting and continental breakfast will follow Mass. Please join us; all are welcome.
The MACH1 Youth Group will meet on February 9, 2020 at 6:00PM in the Faith Formation Room located on the first floor of the St. John the Baptist Pastoral Center, 1501 Virginia Avenue, Monaca. This week's meeting will focus on your questions. In an anonymous fashion, you will be given the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the Faith and receive authentic Catholic answers! For those who did not pick up their Winter Carnival Raffle Tickets, the remaining ones were mailed at the end of last week. Sold ticket stubs and ticket money as well as unsold tickets can be turned in via the collection basket, dropped off at the Pastoral Center, or sent to the Pastoral Center Office by mail. (Please do not mail cash! Make checks payable to 'St. John the Baptist Parish' and please write 'Winter Carnival' on the memo line.) Also, please remember to drop off any purchased donations or gift cards by Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Pastoral Center Office. Thank you in advance for your generosity and cooperation.
Here is your chance to not only help with a church project, but also fulfill service hours! There will be many opportunities to get hours by participating as a volunteer at the Winter Carnival. Please note that you do not need to be a St. John the Baptist parishioner. Student parishioners from any of the parishes in our grouping are welcome to volunteer (whether you need 'service hours' or not).
