Prior to the COVID pandemic, the Christian churches in Monaca would gather on the Wednesdays of Lent for a Lenten Luncheon. Each year one of the churches would act as the ‘host’ church while the other churches provided the luncheon and Lenten reflection. (for more information, click heading)
Our group will not hold its usual bingo/card gathering in March. Since Wednesday, March 1st is SJB 50+Friends usual meeting day, and happens to also fall within the Lenten Season, we will gather with our Christian neighbors for an ecumenical luncheon at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 1301 Indiana Avenue, Monaca.
