Each November 2nd the Church offers Mass in Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, a day better known as All Souls Day.
It is a day of remembrance and prayer, especially prayers for the souls of the departed in need and waiting.
Saturday, November 2, 2024 is All Souls Day. This is a special day when the Church on earth offers Masses, prayers and sacrifices for the souls in Purgatory. A special Mass will be offered at 9:00AM in the Church of St. Titus, Aliquippa in memory of those of our parish who have died over the course of this past year. The names of the deceased will be read aloud and a candle will be lit for each. At the conclusion of this Mass, the loved ones of the deceased are welcome to come forward and take a candle home in remembrance. (To view the MQSP List of the Departed for 2024, CLICK HERE.)
On All Souls Day, Holy Mother Church commemorates all the faithful departed and strives to aid the holy souls of Purgatory by Her powerful intercession, so that may enter the gates of Heaven.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 6:30AM, you are welcome to participate in Morning Prayer and Eucharistic Procession at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 2186 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa. You are encouraged to gain an indulgence for the holy souls by visiting and praying for them at the cemetery.

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
