To all our families, have a blessed and Happy Easter. Classes will resume starting on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

The blessing of foods to be used in Easter meals will take place at 11:00AM at all church locations of the parish on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

On Good Friday, there will be a special collection for the Holy Land. Your generous financial contribution helps to support the struggling Christian community and to preserve some of Christianity’s holiest places. Please give as generously as your means allow, as every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

In observance of the Easter Triduum, the Parish Administrative Office will be closed on Holy Thursday (3/28/24) and Good Friday (3/29/24) as well as Easter Monday (4/1/24). The office will reopen on Tuesday, April 2, at 9:00AM. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous and blessed Easter filled with peace, hope and abundant blessings.

The Knights of Columbus #5825 will hold a free Pancake & Sausage breakfast on Sunday, April 14, 2024 in Monsignor Farri Hall, located on the grounds of St. John the Baptist Church, from 8:30AM to 11:00AM. All are welcome! Freewill offering appreciated.

St. Frances Cabrini’s 50 Plus will NOT meet on Holy Thursday, March 28, 2024. Meetings will resume on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Have Blessed Easter.

The SJB 50 + Friends will meet on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 12noon in Msgr. Farri Hall, 1501 Virginia Avenue, Monaca. Please join for a light lunch, followed by bingo or cards. Goodwill donation of $2 is appreciated. Bingo is 25¢ a game; card players run 50¢. Bring a friend and join for a fun afternoon. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our students who celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” And the children did come to Jesus to meet Him in the Sacrament of First Reconciliation, Monday, March 18, 2024. Please pray for them as they complete their studies in preparation to receive Jesus in the Sacrament of the Eucharist at their First Holy Communion.

As the Community of Sisters of Divine Providence becomes smaller, so too does the group of us who were privileged to grow up with them and be blessed by their special influence on our lives. Volunteers are needed to assist with church cleaning every Thursday from 9:00AM to 10:30AM in the Church of St. Frances Cabrini. If you're interested in lending a hand, please contact Bev Pilotti at 412.974.3047. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
