St. Joseph Cemetery is located at 354 Temple Road, near the intersection of Temple Road and Marcur Lane, Monaca, PA. It was established in 1906 by St. Joseph Catholic Parish of West Aliquippa, PA,. It then came under the care of the Diocese of Pittsburgh after a newly-formed St. Titus Parish was created in May of 1994, which merged the former parishes of St. Joseph and St. Titus.

To uphold the sacred nature and dignity of a Catholic cemetery, it is required that all adhere to the following rules and regulations of St. Joseph Cemetery:
It is PERMITTED to:
1) plant in an approved planting bed up to one foot in front of a headstone/memorial. The area is to be maintained free of weeds and grass.
2) place artificial flowers:
2a) in approved permanent vases
2b) in approved planting beds
2c) on an upright memorial
(Please note that faded, rotten or worn flowers will be removed.)
3) Place decorations for:
3a) Christmas from the First Sunday in Advent to February 28th
3b) Easter from Holy Week through Ascension Day
3c) other holidays such as Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day and All Souls Day
4) Use approved vigil lights, including solar-powered types
It is NOT PERMITTED to:
1) decorate or plant during the general cemetery cleanup time of March 1st to 31st as well as additional times announced in the parish bulletin and/or website
2) plant any shrubs or trees; hostas or rose bushes
3) install anything that represents a safety hazard such as statues, borders, marble chips, fencing, wire, toys, glass, rocks, bottles or cans
4) place flowers or objects that are unsightly or detract from the spiritual setting of a Catholic cemetery
5) bring pets, bicycles or trail vehicles onto the property
6) litter or loiter
7) hang items on tree branches
